
The University of Texas of the Permian Basin now offers a Bachelor of Science degree to qualified, full-time students majoring in Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Information Systems and Mathematics at a cost of $10,000 in tuition and fees for the four-year curriculum.

UTPB was founded as an upper-level institution, and this University continues to welcome and accommodate older and non-traditional students. We offer numerous evening classes, online classes, and a study room for veterans. The new Student Activities Center houses a day care center. There are even scholarships for non-traditional students.

The University of Texas Board of the Permian Basin has received approval to offer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree beginning fall 2013.
The Texas Board of Nursing voted their approval on Thursday, April 18, 2013. The BSN program is a four-year program that will prepare graduates for initial Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. The program incorporates UTPB’s core curriculum and pre-nursing courses during the freshman and sophomore years and two years of nursing classroom and clinical courses during the junior and senior years.
