1.     When can I register for the UTPB AP Summer Institute?
You may register as soon as Registration opens in late December.
 
2.     How do I register?
You may register online at the link that can be found underneath the Registration tab.
 
3.     How much does the AP Summer Institute cost?
The cost for the entire week is $595.
 
4.     What if something unexpected arises and I have to cancel my registration?
If you cannot attend you must notify us by email no later than May 31st. If you do not notify us before this date you will be responsible for the full payment of $595.
 
5.     Who will be teaching the course I am attending?
A description of each teacher, along with their course, can be found under the Instructor Spotlight tab.
 
6.     What do I need to bring?
The weather in Odessa during June is usually very hot, around the upper nineties and into the 100’s. Make sure to bring comfortable, light clothes, walking shoes, along with a hat and sunscreen to protect from the sun.
 
7.     Who is eligible to apply for APSI?
Teachers teaching AP Spanish Language, AP World History, AP Geography, AP English Language and Composition, AP English Literature and Composition, AP Biology and Professional Development in Mathematic for both high school and junior high in the fall are encouraged to apply to APSI.
