What do I research?

As with all my creative endeavours 
  I seek to discover and relate to others 
  that which is new and pleasing to me.
There are no finer moments in life
  than those when after toil, reflection, doubt
  -Eureka! -some deceptively simple thing's made clear.

As it turns out, I research Mathematics.
