Art Scholarships

Each year UTPB Visual Arts awards over $7000 dollars in scholarships to it's majors. These awards are tied into our two very popular student shows; the awards ceremony coincides with the opening reception. Students entering wishing to compete for these awards must submit a portfolio of ten works completed in the last year in UTPB art classes. These portfolios are then judged and ranked by an external reviewer, and then by the art faculty where necessary depending on the scholarship. Parties interested in establishing new scholarships or contributing to existing ones please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 432-552-2802.
