Communities In Schools of the Permian Basin, Inc. is dedicated to helping young people of the Permian Basin stay in school, successfully learn and prepare for life. The CIS/PB program endeavors to enable youth in at-risk situations and their families to have access to a broad range of needed social and educational services by establishing a coordinated delivery system of social resources within an educational setting. 

The objective of CIS/PB is to reduce the number of school dropouts; to improve participants' academic, vocational, social and personal skill; to enable them to graduate from high school; and to enter further training or the labor market.
