Welcome and thank you for your interest in the College of Business and Engineering. We are known for our innovative programs are particularly well suited to serve the needs of west Texas.
For those interested in business, we offer a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in accounting, finance, management, or marketing as well as a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master’s in Public Accountancy (MPA). We are proud that the business degree is one of only approximately one-third of all schools of business accredited by the USA that is accredited by the prestigious AACSB. To achieve this accreditation, our school of business has to achieve the highest standards of academic excellence including rigorous standards for our faculty and learning outcomes for our students.
For those interested in engineering, we offer a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Industrial Technology. These programs are temporarily located in the CEED Building on Highway 191 and the Technology Building on south campus. The Mechanical Engineering program is accredited by ABET which is the benchmark for engineering programs. The Petroleum Engineering is currently in candidacy for accreditation by ABET.
We are fortunate in that the vast majority of our business and engineering graduates have landed professional positions immediately upon graduation. The university also has an active career placement office to assist in job placement either before or after graduation. We invite you to come to campus and look forward to seeing you as part of our college.
