Homecoming Week 2017: Oct. 9-14

Save the dates now for the UTPB Falcons Homecoming Week. Homecoming week will begin on October 9th and culminate at 6:00 pm on October 14th as the Falcons take on the Texas A&M-Kingsville Javelinas at Ratliff Stadium.

Camps include All State Choral , Art, FFLITE, Football, Midland Kinder College , Odessa Kinder College and Volleyball.

Summer Office Hours

Offices at UTPB will follow an altered work schedule this summer beginning Monday, June 5th through Friday, August 11th. This schedule includes four nine-hour days and one four-hour day. Monday through Thursday, the University offices will open from 7:30am until 5:30pm. On Friday, UTPB offices will open from 8:00am until 12:00pm (noon).

Brooks Signs Pro Contract

UT Permian Basin football hit another milestone when the first-year program had its first player sign an NFL contract when OL Corin Brooks signed as an UDFA with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brooks, likely to play guard in the NFL, had offers from multiple teams and signed with KC in part when the Chiefs ended the 2017 Draft without selecting an offensive lineman with one of their six picks.

New Art Emphasis for Fall

The Graphic Design emphasis will be within the Bachelor of Arts - 4 years: Art. The total semester credit hours required for the Graphic Design emphasis is 120 sch. The emphasis will require 12 hours (4 classes) and an Internship in Graphic Design (1 class). Students must complete a minor from one of the following disciplines, Marketing, Communication or Computer Science.

Register Now For Summer and Fall

Registration is now open for Summer and Fall 2017 semesters! You can find a list of courses that are available in the course schedule.

Remember, students need to meet with their advisors at least once a semester to review their progress and plan for the subsequent semester.

Students needing an academic advisor should contact their dean's office.

Registration for Student Orientation and Registration (SOAR) is now open.

All admitted students receive an invitation to register via email. Dates are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so be sure to check your email and complete the form.

SOAR is mandatory for all incoming students.
