Dr. Watts to Step Down as President

After serving 15 years leading The University of Texas of the Permian Basin and overseeing a period of unprecedented growth and evolution, Dr. W. David Watts announced in the annual fall convocation held on campus today, that he had submitted his resignation as president, effective August 31, 2017. “Working together, I think we have accomplished things that no one, perhaps not even ourselves thought possible,” he said in his message.

Falcons Away Game This Saturday

The UTPB Falcons Football team (2-2) lost to Western New Mexico on Sunday by the score of 68-17 on Sept. 24 at Ratliff Stadium. They will face their next opponent Tarleton State at 7 p.m. Oct. 1 in Stephenville, TX. The Falcon's next home game is vs Eastern New Mexico on Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. at Ratliff Stadium located in Odessa, TX. Tickets to home games are available for purchase and admission is FREE with current UTPB student ID! . Make sure you come out and support your UTPB Falcons Football Team!
