Online training is available for Webmail and WebCalendar for those wanting to learn more...

Student Accounts - Email, Proxy, Dialup, Wireless, and Resnet

Students are provided e-mail access via WebMail only, and can log in via:  https://mirapoint.utpb.edu

Student E-mail addresses use the format:  lastname_FirstInitial+last 3 digits of their UID.  A student named John Smith with a UID of 889-76-1234, would have an e-mail address of smith_j234@utpb.edu

Initial Passwords are of the format:  FirstName+MMDDYYYY, where MMDDYYYY is your birthdate.  Initial passwords should be changed before using Webmail.  If John's birthday is July 13, 1970, his password would be john07131970.

There is no need to enter @utpb.edu when logging into WebMail.
