20. Use of Alcoholic Beverages on Campus

20.1 Areas of Prohibited Use

The use of intoxicating beverages is prohibited in classroom buildings, laboratories, auditoriums, library buildings, art galleries, faculty and administrative offices, intercollegiate and intramural athletic facilities, and other public campus areas.

20.2 Presidential Waivers

With the prior consent of the President, the foregoing provisions of this Subsection may be waived with respect to any specific event which is sponsored by the institution. All such requests for waivers will be submitted in a format approved by the President and must include the:

20.2111 nature of the event

20.2112 date of event

20.2113 time of event

20.2114 location of the event

20.2115 specific beverages to be served

All requests for waivers must be submitted to the President's Office at least two weeks prior to the date of the event.

20.3 State Law

State law will be strictly enforced at all times on all UT Permian Basin property.
