Leadership Team

The Leadership Team provides oversight to all aspects of the reaffirmation process. According to the Handbook for Reaffirmation of Accreditation  the team must include individuals “who have the skills, knowledge and authority to lead in this total institutional effort.” At a minimum, the Leadership Team must consist of the President, the chief academic officer, the accreditation liaison, and a member of the faculty. The Team’s responsibilities are:

  • Coordinating and managing the process of reaffirmation at the institution, including development of timelines, ensuring that tasks at all levels are completed on time, and attending the orientation session conducted by the Commission on Colleges (4 members).
     
  • Overseeing the Compliance Certification process and document.
     
  • Developing the Focused Report based on the compliance issues identified by the off-campus review team.
     
  • Overseeing the Quality Enhancement Plan process and document.
     
  • Ensuring that the campus is engaged in the reaffirmation process and is kept informed of the progress of the effort.
     
  • Arranging all aspects of the on-site team visit.
     
  • Ensuring that all Compliance and QEP follow-up activities are conducted and monitored and any required reports are sent to the Commission on Colleges in a timely fashion.
