QEP Team

Charge: The Team will successfully

  • Identify an appropriate schedule for development of the
  • QEP.Engage the faculty, staff, students and alumni in identifying an acceptable topic for the QEP.
  • Conduct a thorough review of the literature and practices associated with the QEP topic to identify a program with the greatest likelihood of making a significant impact on student learning.
  • Develop a plan that will fulfill all of the requirements of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
  • Develop appropriate goals, objectives and student learning outcomes for the QEP.
  • Develop a program of assessment that will evaluate the extent to which the goals, objectives and learning outcomes are achieved and provide a mechanism by which the results of the assessment are used to enhance the program.
  • Develop a realistic and feasible implementation of the QEP program including an estimate of human and fiscal resources, an implementation timeline and a mechanism by which the results of the program are communicated to the President, vice presidents and the campus community.
  • Write an acceptable Quality Enhancement Plan document that meets the requirements of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
