THE GENERAL COMPLIANCE TRAINING PROGRAM

Program Specifics:

UTPB has instituted a General Compliance Training Program. This training is required of all regular, benefit eligible employees (50% time or more for at least 4.5 months). The training program provides basic information about laws and regulations with which employees must comply. In addition, the training provides references regarding who employees can talk to, and web sites they can visit for more information.

UTPB's training software is called ADOBE Connect. This is a web-based training program that employees will take from their individual computers at their convenience.

If you do not have access to a computer, please use one of the following options:

  1. For student employees, training is accessible from the computer labs.

  2. For non-student employees, training is accessible from computers in Human Resources.

  3. Bilingual training is offered through the Office of Human Resources

  4. For off-campus access:

    • Open your web browser and type in The URL address

      http://vdisk.utpb.edu/system/login?next=/&set-lang=en

       

  1. Type in your ID and Password and it will take you into the portal.

To get to Adobe Connect:

  1. Go to UTPB's web site (using, for example, Netscape or Internet Explorer)

  2. Click on UTPB ADMINISTRATION

  3. Click on Human Resources

  4. Click on Online Training

Once in Adobe Connect

  1. Enter your user name last name _ first Initial

  2. Your Password is the same as your UTPB Email Account

  3. View your individual course list. These courses were selected by your Department Head or Dean.

  4. Take your scheduled courses at your convenience.

  5. Each course takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. You must complete the course to get credit.

Did you forget your password?

  • You will need to contact the Information Resources Division (IRD) 2415 to have your email password reset.

Feel free to click on REVIEW A COURSE to take a course for your information only. If you would like a course added to your required course list (for credit), you may call ext. 2747 and have it added.

The Office of Human Resources will track data by person on all required and voluntary training programs completed
