The University's Compliance Office coordinates and ensures compliance with the Title IX of the Higher Education Act Amendments of 1972.
All University employees (faculty, staff, administrators) are expected to report actual or suspected discrimination or harassment to appropriate officials, though there are some limited exceptions. In order to make informed choices, it is important to be aware of confidentiality and mandatory reporting requirements when consulting campus resources. These specific employees will maintain confidentiality except in extreme cases of immediacy of threat or danger or abuse of a minor. Please understand that these employees are required to submit anonymous statistical information for Clery Act.
Anyone wishing to report incidents of gender-based or sexual misconduct should do so through The University Police Department, Residential Staff (RAs or RDs), person’s supervisor, the Title IX Coordinator or either Deputy Coordinator.
