The University Choir is the primary choral ensemble at UTPB. The mission of the ensemble is to present a wide variety of music representing the utmost quality in performance practice and stylistic guidelines from music history. The choir's community service projects have included performances at Midland's Manor Park for the Alzheimer's patients there.

The Falcon Flock is the primary wind ensemble at UTPB. The Flock performs at commencements, convocations, several athletic events, and community service programs such as Empty Bowls and the Odessa Teddy Bear Patrol.

Chamber Ensembles is a flexible ensemble course created to allow for the growth and development of various smaller ensembles such as a string ensemble, percussion ensemble, and many others. Community service programs include performances for various events throughout the Permian Basin.

Mariachi Falcones is the resident mariachi band on campus. They perform regularly for cultural conferences throughout Odessa, Midland, and on campus. The ensemble is well respected and quickly gaining a reputation amongst local mariachi players as a new endeavor at UTPB.
