The Access and Equity Committee is responsible for identifying and responding to campus and community factors that positively or negatively affect recruitment and retention of underrepresented students, faculty, administrators, and professional staff. The committee will monitor the implementation of UTPB’s risk management plan for all high-risk compliance issues, monitor UTPB’s compliance with the U.T. System Action Plan to ensure institutional compliance, communicate instances of non-compliance to the Institutional Compliance Officer, follow-up on compliance findings to ensure that appropriate corrective action has been taken, and continuously assess the effectiveness of institutional compliance.
