"To get this West Texas Principal Center is going to be really incredible for the region," Dr. Susan Lara said. "I think it will get a really good reception - not only from larger towns - but from rural communities who can send principal candidates to UTPB free of charge. It's particularly important in a rural area that people have the opportunity to come for academic development as well as leadership," Lara said.
