Minority Scholar Program

General Information

The Minority Scholar Program invites A.B.D. students of historically underrepresented groups to the UTPB campus. Participants must be actively working on their dissertation. Selected candidates share their research with the university community and participate in roundtable discussions focusing on graduate school. The purpose of the program is to encourage and mentor our students who might be considering graduate programs. The Minority Scholar Program also exposes UTPB students and faculty to new research being conducted at other universities.
