Student Health Insurance

The University of Texas System has endorsed a student health insurance plan for students at all University of Texas campuses.

Benefit Modifications

1. The Prescription Drug maximum has been increased from $500.00 to $1,000.00.
   The co pay at the Student Health Center has been increased from $5.00 generic/ $10.00 brand to $10.00 generic/ $15.00 brand.
2. Allergy testing and treatment up to a $500 maximum Per Policy Year with a $25 co pay for Allergy testing.
3. The Optional Major Medical maximum has been increased from $250,000 to $500,000.
4. The PPO network has been changed to Texas True Choice
