DROP
A Drop is defined as dropping one or more courses while remaining enrolled in other courses. A 100% refund is given for those hours dropped during late registration. There will be NO REFUND for dropped courses after January 30, 2008.

WITHDRAWAL
A Withdrawal is defined as dropping ALL courses. Drops and withdrawals become effective the date the written request, with all required signatures, is received by the Registrar's Office. The following schedule will apply for withdrawal refunds :

*Students withdrawing before the first class day will receive a 100% refund minus a $15 matriculation fee and the non-refundable fees. Non-refundable fees include a $25 computer- processing fee, a $10 advising fee, and an orientation fee (if charged). The $11 medical services fee is non-refundable if the withdrawal occurs after the 12th class day. Once a student is registered, only that student may initiate any action to change his/her schedule. There actions must be made in writing at the Registrar's Office. See the University Calendar in this schedule for specific deadlines. These actions become effective the date the written request, signed by the instructor, is received by the Registrar's Office. Graduate students must clear all adds, through the Graduate Studies Office. Payment for added courses is due within 24 hours of adding the course. For refund deadlines and rates see the Refund Policy below.
REFUND POLICY
All drop or withdrawal actions must be initiated by the student in writing at the Registrar's Office; faculty, friends,or relatives are not allowed to initiate this action. Graduate students must clear all adds through the Graduate Studies Office. A drop is different from a withdrawal. Please read the definitions of each below. Refunds will be processed after the 4th class day for each summer session.

There will be NO REFUND for dropped courses after May 8th for Maymester courses, nor after June 4th for Whole Summer courses, nor after June 4th for 1st Summer session courses, nor after July 10th for 2nd Summer Session courses.

Non-refundable fees include a $25 computer-processing fee, and a $5 advising fee, and $10 orientation fee (if charged).
