Record Fall Enrollment

Fall Enrollment for UT Permian Basin is a record-high 7000 students. This number represents a 7.41% increase in headcount and a 4.79% increase in Student Credit Hours (SCH’s). Among the programs with a significant increase in enrollment are engineering, nursing, and dual credit enrollment.

UTPB Nursing Program Marks Its Fourth Year

Just over four years ago, UT Permian Basin opened its doors to its inaugural class of nursing students with the promise of improving healthcare in West Texas. Since that time more than 107 students have graduated and have gone on to become bachelor’s degree trained registered nurses, many of whom remain locally to practice a high demand profession both nationally and regionally.

New Healthcare Management Certificate Offered

UTPB is offering a new certificate in Healthcare Management starting in Fall, 2017. The certificate will offer students earning a BBA or those who already have the degree to learn about the unique issues, challenges, and management tools used by health services organizations such as hospitals, medical practices, wellness centers, and public health units.

Register Now For Fall

Registration is now open for the Fall 2017 semester! You can find a list of courses that are available in the course schedule.

Remember, students need to meet with their advisors at least once a semester to review their progress and plan for the subsequent semester.

Students needing an academic advisor should contact their dean's office.
