BBA with Certificate in Health Systems Policy and Management

Healthcare professionals are responsible for more than patient care—they must understand the business and quickly-evolving regulatory environments of patient care to create a successful healthcare environment for patients. The Healthcare Management Certificate program will give you a better understanding of healthcare regulations, budgets, and business best practices.

Roles that would benefit from this program include Clinical Director, Records Manager, Office Manager, Practice Administrator, HR Manager, MIS Manager and many other roles within in hospitals, medical clinics, government agencies, and medical billing/benefits companies.

Certificate Requirements

  • Students must complete a BBA degree with a major in one of the following fields: accountancy, finance, management, and marketing.
  • Students must complete four undergraduate healthcare related courses for a total of 12 semester credit hours.
  • Students must achieve a grade of at least a “C” or better.
  • Students are required to submit an application to the College of Business for certificate approval.
