Industrial Technology Programs

Manage, operate, and maintain complex systems.

Technology is critical in the workplace and in our world. It keeps planes, packages, and paychecks on time and helps us communicate with one another constantly and in real time. It is more important than ever to have highly trained individuals managing those systems. The field of Industrial Technology is designed to prepare students to manage the technical portions of a business across all industries.

The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (BSIT) is a traditional bachelor’s degree. The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) degree with the Industrial Technology track is specifically designed to shorten the time required for a student who earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in a technical area to earn a four-year bachelor’s degree.

Students pursuing either the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology degree or the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree with the Industrial Technology track receive a comprehensive education in Industrial Technology. Students develop not only their technical skills but also their sense of collaboration, innovation, cultural values, communication skills, and accountability. Graduates of the program will be equipped to meet the new and emerging challenge of a modern high technology society.
