Gregory "Troy" Doelling is a 20 year veteran as a 9-1-1 dispatch supervisor of the Odessa Police Department and Odessa Communications Center.  Troy took 9-1-1 calls for service, non-emergency calls for service and was certified as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher, giving Medical instructions of CPR to Childbirth over the phone.  Troy has been awarded the State of Texas award of Silent Hero three times.  The Silent Hero award is awarded to those individuals in recognition of his/her exceptional professionalism in the field of public safety.  It also acknowledges the special contributions of telecommunicators whose daily performance is an inspiration and example to others.  Troy was also awarded the Team 9-1-1 Award, along with 5 other co-workers, in their role of an officer involved shooting.

Troy is a State Certified Emergency Medical Technician and Certified as an American Heart Association CPR/First Aid Instructor.  Troy is a Master Telecommunicator through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) and a TCOLE Basic Instructor.
