
William Fannin
William R. Fannin received a Ph.D in Management from Texas A&M University in 1980. Since 1980 he has served on the faculty of four universities—the University of Maine, the University of Houston-Clear Lake, Idaho State University, and the University of Texas-Permian Basin. For thirty years (1985-2015) his faculty appointments were coupled with administrative positions include College Dean (ISU), Provost and Vice-President (UTPB), and President-ad interim (UT-Brownsville). His teaching and research interests include strategic management, management of healthcare services, and international business. A faculty associate member in the American College of Healthcare Executives, Dr. Fannin serves as the UTPB’s Coordinator for Healthcare Management programs.
