The REACH (Regional Electronic Academic Communication Highway) Program Center is responsible for the coordination and deployment of quality distance education at UT Permian Basin. REACH supports faculty and academic supportive staff through a variety of programs, activities, and resources that support the University's mission to provide quality education to all qualified students in a supportive educational environment.
Major functions of REACH are:
- Support faculty, staff, and students to create better learning environments and improve educational outcomes.
- Provide professional development opportunities to improve instructional technology skills.
- Serve as a resource unit enabling the university community to engage students, faculty, and staff.
REACH periodically assesses institutional and academic needs, obtains input from the Provost, consults with faculty and refines functions accordingly.
