Advancement

The future of the Falcon family depends on you

Only 35% of UTPB’s funding comes from the state (including no funding for athletics and scholarships). The other half of our budget is supplemented through tuition, fees, and private and corporate donations.

We depend on your generosity to meet the needs of our region, attract more students, and create a vibrant, welcoming, and modern campus. Thank you in advance for your support.

Ways to Give

There are multiple ways to give to UT Permian Basin. We are committed to using your gift wisely. You can be certain that you're supporting UTPB's top priorities - including services for students, innovative projects, and continuing to expand the University's academic footprint on West Texas and the nation.

Annual Giving

UT Permian Basin thrives when alumni, faculty, staff and community members believe in and want to support our students and programs. Annual giving donations are critical to the growth and continued success of the University. This unique way of making your yearly gift can be directed to wherever you are most passionate. Need help choosing? The General Scholarship Fund, Student Emergency Fund, or Athletics (Champions Fund) is a great place to start.

Endowments

An endowment is a long-term strategic investment in UTPB. With an endowed gift, you provide a permanent stream of support for the University. Endowments allow today's donors to have a positive impact on this generation and future generations. An endowment also gives you the opportunity to honor someone important to you. Their legacy will live on, while providing lasting support for UTPB.

For more information on forming an endowment, please contact Marisol Chriesman at 432-552-2806.

Employee Giving

A simple and powerful payroll deduction from UT Permian Basin employees can make enormous impacts on the University. Our faculty and staff provide a strong foundation for UTPB through their daily work and their generosity. One of the most powerful and positive ways employees can support students is by financially investing in the betterment of our university. A contribution that fits your budget can be tailored to the program or cause of your choice.

To participate in the Employee Payroll Deduction Program (Falcon Flight), please contact Danielle Davila at 432-552-2803.

Corporate & Foundation Relations

If your corporation or foundation gives charitable donations, consider partnering with UTPB. We work with corporations and foundations of all sizes to match their giving priorities with our goals as a university.

Create a UT Permian Basin Scholarship

There are many ways you can impact the University—but there is not a more meaningful way than to create an endowed scholarship. Endowed scholarships not only highlight the legacy that you are gifting to the University, but you immediately and directly impact UTPB students and the community they will one day serve. Endowed scholarships and gifts provide perpetual funding in support of the University and our students. Creating an endowed scholarship or gift supports University growth while aligning donor interests with the needs of the University.

Alumni Relations

Falcon alumni are over 20,000 strong world-wide. UT Permian Basin Alumni Relations works to create meaningful engagement with those alumni. You can partner with us in many ways, including joining the Falcon Alumni Network, attending alumni events, joining an advisory board, and making a gift, all of which make a lasting impact on your alma mater.

For more information on getting involved, please contact Jeff Meyers at 432-552-2809.
