College of Arts and Sciences

One of UT Permian Basin’s most academically diverse colleges, the College of Arts & Sciences contributes to the education of virtually every student at UTPB through its core curriculum. The College of Arts & Sciences offers more than 30 degree programs in arts, humanities, social sciences, biology, and chemistry. In addition to excellent teaching, the college produces quality research and creative work.

College of Business

The nationally ranked College of Business transforms business students into business leaders. Offering degrees in foundational areas of study such as Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, and Marketing, as well as specialized programs in Energy Land Management, Healthcare Management, and Industrial Technology, the College of Business is at the leading of edge of business education. Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

College of Education

The College of Education produces teachers, counselors, and administrators who  immediately impact and improve their community—wherever it may be. The college boasts experienced faculty and staff who create the best learning environment possible. The College of Education takes West Texas' educators to the next level.

College of Engineering

Located in what some call “the world’s largest laboratory,” the College of Engineering at UTPB is known for producing the finest engineers in West Texas. Students are able to study the craft of engineering in specialized fields such as Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, and Petroleum. Students are given the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the engineering sciences—and the tools necessary to thrive in a dynamic, exciting, and growing industry. 

College of Health Sciences and Human Performance

Healthcare careers are in high demand. The College of Health Sciences and Human Performance offers a variety of degrees that focus on preparing students to provide high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. Areas within CoHSHP include the School of Nursing, Department of Human Performance (Athletic Training and Exercise Science), Department of Social Work, Department of Community and Family Health, as well as the Center for Interprofessional and Experiential Learning and Clinical Labs.
