Phillips 66 Donates to STEM Academy

Phillips 66 Donates $30,000 to STEM Academy

Students, faculty, staff, and parents from the UT Permian Basin STEM Academy gathered today to celebrate student success and a generous gift from a community partner. Phillips 66 donated $30,000 to use for STEM lab equipment. The donation will allow the school to implement a K-12 Space Maker into their curriculum.

The UT Permian Basin Choral Department Takes New York!

This afternoon, 39 people representing The University of Texas of the Permian Basin will arrive in New York City to prepare for a performance at Carnegie Hall. 33 students will sing this Saturday in this world-renowned venue. The diverse group of students includes many music majors but also represents other disciplines from all across campus.

Jefember Villela: hard-working, determined and committed to making UT Permian Basin the best University in Texas. These qualities earned him the “President’s Falcon Award” which comes with a generous scholarship from UT Permian Basin alumni Gaven Norris and Israel Medina. Jefember is an American success story and UT Permian Basin is proud to play a part in his journey.

Registration is now open for the Summer & Fall 2018 semesters! You can find a list of courses that are available in the course schedule.

Remember, students need to meet with their advisors at least once a semester to review their progress and plan for the subsequent semester.  Students needing an academic advisor should contact their dean's office.
