Replacement Diploma & Transcript Request

UTPB has partnered with Parchment to provide students and alumni with both electronic/digital and paper replacement diplomas and transcripts.

Diploma Delivery Times

  • Digital diplomas will be processed by the Registrar's Office two business days after they are ordered.
  • Replacement diploma requests will be processed by the Registrar's Office the next business day after they are ordered. Alumni should allow 10-15 business days for paper diploma(s) to be mailed. 
  • If you provide a cell phone number in your order, you will receive an SMS message when the digital/paper diploma is ready. 
  • You will be receiving emails from:
  • Graduates must clear any outstanding account balances or transcript/diploma holds before their diploma can be mailed. 

Notarized and Apostille Process

Steps for UTPB Diploma Notarization

  • Contact the Office of the Registrar: Email graduation@utpb.edu to initiate the notarization process. The Office of the Registrar handles official diploma verification.
  • Submit Required Documents: You may be asked to bring your original diploma to the office or, if approved, mail it for processing.
  • Understand the Purpose: Diploma notarization is typically required for use outside the United States and may require an additional Apostille certificate issued by the Secretary of State.

Transcript Request Delivery Times

  • Electronic transcripts should be received within 24 hours after they are ordered.
  • Paper transcripts should be processed by the Registrar’s Office the next business day after they are ordered. Students should allow 7-10 business days for paper transcripts to be received.
