Cost Calculator

Calculate your future

UT Permian Basin's Cost Calculator helps students determine how much financial aid they are eligible to receive. Before we add up how much funding to give you, you'll want to follow the steps below. Then, select what kind of student you are (freshman, transfer, online) and we'll calculate your costs together using our personalized cost calculator.

Follow these steps:

  1. Complete your FAFSA/TASFA

For best results, students are encouraged to complete their FAFSA/TAFSA ahead of filling out the UTPB Cost Calculator (but it's not required).

  2. Student Aid Index (SAI)

If you do not have an SAI from either the FAFSA or TASFA, you can get your SAI from the Student Aid Estimator by clicking the link above.

  3. GPA

Knowing your high school or transfer GPA helps us determine your aid.

  4. Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) from 2022 taxes

Students will need their parents or legal guardian's AGI if they are a dependent. If you are not a dependent you'll need your own AGI from your taxes.
