Dr. Watts to Step Down as President

After serving 15 years leading The University of Texas of the Permian Basin and overseeing a period of unprecedented growth and evolution, Dr. W. David Watts announced in the annual fall convocation held on campus today, that he had submitted his resignation as president, effective August 31, 2017. “Working together, I think we have accomplished things that no one, perhaps not even ourselves thought possible,” he said in his message.

Falcons at Home This Saturday

The UTPB Falcons Football team (2-1) suffered it's first loss to West Texas A&M on Sunday by the score of 14-48 on Sept. 18 at Ratliff Stadium. They will face their next opponent Western New Mexico in Lone Star Conference action at 7 p.m. Sept. 24 at Ratliff Stadium located in Odessa, TX. Tickets are now available for purchase and remember admission is FREE with current UTPB student ID! . Make sure you come out and support your UTPB Falcons Football Team!
