Who's ready to show your Falcon spirit? Now is you chance to try-out for the UTPB Cheer Team!
Here is what you need to know for the 2021-2022 UTPB Cheer Team Auditions!
- Video submissions due Friday, May 14 by 5 p.m.to falconspirit@utpb.edu.
- Finalists will be invited to an in-person or zoom tryout on May 19.That audition will include an interview and formal tryouts with judges.
- Finalists must be admitted to UTPB by the May 19 tryout to be eligible.
- Scholarships available for team members!
Requirements for video submissions:
- Short introduction (name, hometown, classification) and why you want to cheer
- One strength and one weakness you have as a teammate
- UTPB fight song (search "UTPB Fight Song" on YouTube for several breakdowns)
- Any cheer or chant you know (motion technique)
- Any band dance / cadence / competitive cheer dance you know
- Three best jumps
- Any stunting skills you have
- Any tumbling skills you have
