The University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) is thrilled to announce that admission to all Falcon football games and tailgating spots this season will be completely free to the community. This decision comes in the wake of the Falcons' historic season as Lone Star Conference (LSC) champions and in celebration of UTPB’s 50th anniversary.

"We had such a successful season last year, and as we mark our 50th anniversary, we wanted to give back to the community that has supported us through the years," said UTPB President, Dr. Sandra Woodley. "This year, we’re moving from a ticketed admission approach to a model that provides free admission with an option to donate to Falcon Athletics. We invite everyone to come out and enjoy the games and the exciting college game day atmosphere right here in West Texas."

If you’ve never attended a UTPB football game, now is the perfect time to experience the excitement and energy of Falcon football along with tailgating. Tailgating in the parking lot at both Ratliff and Astound is open to all. Just show up, pick a spot, bring your friends, coolers, and favorite game day food. Tailgate setup begins at noon on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be plenty of activities for future Falcons along with a DJ and food trucks. There will also be performances by UTPB by cheer and dance teams, and the marching band.

Invite your friends and family, show up, and wear your orange and black. Mark your calendars and make plans to cheer on your Falcons!
