The UTPB Chemistry and Physics Department is dedicated to expanding knowledge and inquiry into the earth's and space's natural phenomena. The Division is home to Chemistry and Physics courses. If you enter one of our programs, you will study how the physical world works and how matter behaves as it does. This means the deduction of the laws of nature and their underlying principles. Through the scientific method and complementary studies in mathematics and statistics, you will learn to analyze, forecast, and predict phenomena on Earth.
