As the spring semester comes to close, the University of Texas Permian Basin is proud to celebrate students who have achieved the highest academic standards. During this year’s Honors Convocation, almost 600 students were recognized for achieving a perfect 4.0 grade point average (GPA). They were named to the prestigious President’s Honor Roll and walked across the stage to receive a certificate and a congratulatory message from President Sandra Woodley. Additionally, almost 1,200 students were named to the Dean’s Honor Roll.

These students maintained between a 3.5 and 3.99 GPA. During the event, the University also presented the Outstanding Student Leader award to Ayra Cirilo and the Outstanding Student Organization to the Student Accounting Association. Dr. Woodley congratulated the students for their hard work, commitment to excellence, and determination.
