Dr. Aryal has tremendous expertise in MCNP modeling and simulation of different reactor systems and has worked with NRAD, ATRC, and AGN-201. He possess BS in Nuclear Engineering with minor in Physics (High Honors) and double masters in Mechanical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering. His PhD mainly focused in designing neutron detector (hodoscope) for advanced instrumentation for transient reactor. Previously, he has performed small reactivity measurements using open and closed loop systems, studied heat transfer effects and bypass flow in prismatic core of high temperature gas cooled reactors. He acquires the competence to couple several disciplines of Physics, Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering. Notable Skills: MCNP, Autocad, Matlab, C++, Mathematica, LabVIEW, OpenBUGS, SAPHIRE, SCALE, KENO, ORIGIN, PRA.
