Mr. Bobier is the Coordinator of Clinical Education and Clinical Assistant Professor for the Athletic Training Program at UT Permian Basin.  Originally from Oklahoma City, OK, Mr. Bobier received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2001 while studying athletic training.  He then attended the University of Houston where he was a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the UH baseball and cheer teams while earning a Master of Education degree.  Mr. Bobier has 15 years of experience working as an athletic trainer in professional and NCAA D1 baseball.  This includes time with the University of Houston, Texas Rangers Baseball Club, University of Texas, Kansas State University, and the Miami Marlins.  During his time in professional baseball, Mr. Bobier served as an athletic trainer in various levels of the organization including Triple-A, Rehabilitation Coordinator, and Athletic Training Coordinator.  Mr. Bobier has also spent time in the secondary school setting including Okarche Public Schools in Okarche, OK where he served as an educator and athletic trainer prior to arriving in Odessa.  Mr. Bobier is currently completing a Doctor of Athletic Training degree at A.T. Still University where he will graduate in June of 2022.  His research interest includes the use of patient-reported outcome measures by athletic trainers.  Mr. Bobier lives in Odessa, TX with his wife Jill and daughter Madison.
