Dr. Ahmed H. Kamelis an Associate Professor of petroleum engineering at the University of Texas Permian Basin. He holds both B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Oklahoma, USA. All degrees are in petroleum engineering. His areas of interests are drilling, completion, stimulation of oil and gas wells and oil transportation and storage. Most of his research focuses on fluid characterization and fluid rheological and hydraulic properties. Dr. Kamel has diverse experience in academia and industry in the U.S., Egypt and the Middle East.
