UT Permian Basin wants to help you make applying for FAFSA, TASFA, and/or to UTPB as easy as possible! The good news is we are here to help!

Every Tuesday night, beginning May 11 through the end of June, UTPB will welcome the community to campus to help guide them through the different application processes. Students looking to take the next step to higher education, along with their parents or guardians, are welcome. Representatives from the Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid will be on hand to help personally assist those who attend. We will also have Spanish-speaking representatives available.

“Whether you’re applying for FAFSA, TASFA, or just college in general, it can be confusing and frustrating. We hope the community will take advantage of this opportunity to get help and seek advice from our experts on campus,” said UT Permian Basin Admissions Counselor, Madeline Green.

In order to fill-out the FAFSA, you’ll need to bring IRS tax return information from year 2019 (a 1040), Social Security number(s) and if needed, green card information.

Everyone should fill out either a FAFSA or TASFA to see what funding they’re eligible for. The sooner you fill-out the applications, the better! It is encouraged to complete the application by June 30, 2021 in order to receive funding in time for the start of the fall semester.

We hope you’ll make plans to join us on a Tuesday evening starting at 6:00 pm in the Mesa Building room 2221.
