About Daniel Bright

Daniel Bright is a native Odessan. He is a graduate of Permian High School and The University of Texas Permian Basin where he received his Bachelor of Business Marketing in 2009 and his Master of Business Administration in 2010. Daniel has been working at Sewell Ford for almost 10 years now, where he helps business and individual clients with all their vehicle needs. Daniel is married to Meredith, and they have four children Walker, Sunny, Caroline, and Mattie-Mae. Meredith is also a proud alumni of UTPB with her Master’s Degree.

Daniel currently serves on the Permian Basin Rehab Board and has been a part of that leadership team for 10 years. He also helped to create the Falcon Alumni Network (FAN) with a many fellow Falcon alums and served as the President of FAN for two years. He also supports the UTPB Athletics Department; always willing to go the extra mile for student-athletes, coaches, and the Athletics Director. He and several fellow Alumni have started The Pursuit – a fundraiser in its second year. In its first year, The Pursuit provided $150,000 for athletics scholarships.

Daniel hopes to continue making a difference for the greater Permian Basin area, helping various organizations while supporting the growth of UTPB! Daniel enjoys trips with his family, coaching, and watching his kids play sports or doing school activities. He is a big fan of date nights with his wife, playing golf with his friends, and enjoying the outdoors. Lastly none of this could be done without his amazing wife and amazing kids.
