Research, Scholarly and Creative Activity (RSCA) Grant Program
Guidelines & Application
Application Deadline: October 31, 2021
The Research, Scholarly and Creative Activity (RSCA) program is an internal grant program administered by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs to encourage eligible full-time faculty to develop individual projects leading to the pursuit of external funding sources and the promotion of research, scholarly, and creative activities in all disciplines.
RSCA grants provide up to $3,000 per project to facilitate campus research and scholarly projects with the following goals:
- To support research that enhances discovery and leads to the acquisition of cutting-edge knowledge addressing national, university, and/or local community issues,
- To encourage the refinement of research methods and techniques necessary to develop projects and proposals that attract support from external funding agencies, and
- To increase the production of research-based academic scholarship in the form of refereed books, journal articles, professional papers, juried artistic productions, or other peer-approved formats.
