Every student can use a little help once-in-a-while—and that help often makes the difference in the success and wellness of a student. Graduates of the UTPB counseling program will learn about ethical, legal and professional issues in counseling, as well as social and cultural foundations, human growth and development, career development, relationship and skills, group work, appraisal (tests and measurements), and research and program evaluation. Through one of our four master’s tracks in educational counseling, you will obtain a strong understanding of diversity issues and be able to address the needs of a progressively growing diverse population.
