Power System/Power Electronics Module

This is used in conjunction with our laboratory station. It is useful to perform experiments in power systems, electric machines, power electronics and control at a low voltage of 42V.

National Instruments Elvis III

It is an Electrical Engineering prototyping board for analog and digital electronics circuits. It contains instrumentations. It is part of laboratory station for all our laboratory classes.

Internet of Things (IoT) Systems Design Board

This development kit with sensor devices, XBee ZigBee® kit. It is used in our technical elective courses and integrates hands-on industry relevant experiences and real-world applications in IoT design and testing.

Power System Laboratory Station

This workstation is attached to a computer and allows performing of variety of experiments in power systems, electric machine, power electronics, electric circuits, control and other courses. Above wired experiment is an example of simulation of power transfer from a generating station to a city at a distance of 200 miles. The transmission lines have two substations along the way and compensate power losses by adding capacitive circuits to maintain unity power factor.

Student Laboratory Station for Analog, Digital Electronics, IoT, Microprocessor and other courses.

The laboratory station is equipped with a computer, an oscilloscope, triple power supply, signal generator, digital multimeter, NI Elvis III and protoboard. It is used in all Electrical Engineering courses for practical hands on experience.
