
MBA with Certificate in Health Systems Policy and Management
The University of Texas of the Permian Basin (UTPB) and the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) have a partnership through which a student can earn a UTPB Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree and a TTUHSC graduate certificate in Health Systems Policy and Management (HSPM). The MBA and HSPM certificate takes 39 graduate credits.
Under the partnership program:
- Students must be actively enrolled in the UTPB MBA;
- Students must have a current overall grade point average of a 3.0;
- Students degree plan includes
- UTPB Courses (27 credit hours)
- TTUHSC Graduate Courses (12 credit hours)
- Students will need to enroll at TTUHSC SHP in the Graduate Certificate HSPM Program as a graduate "non-degree seeking" and be accepted prior to enrolling courses at TTUHSC.
- Students attempting to utilize financial aid must proactively plan/communicate with their UTPB academic advisor. the UTPB financial aid office and the TTUHSC SHP Office of Admissions and Student Affairs.
