What is an accelerated master’s program?
Qualified undergraduate students currently enrolled at UTPB can earn both a bachelor of science and master of science in mechanical engineering in just five years.
You’ll save time by earning up to six credits for master’s level courses taken while earning your bachelor’s degree during senior year. Plus, AMP students are automatically admitted to graduate school upon completion of a bachelor’s degree and without any GRE requirement. Students must meet the general UT Permian Basin graduate admissions requirements:
- Complete prerequisite courses before starting any graduate level work.
- GPA of 3.0 or better in the last 60 credit hours of upper-level coursework.*
level coursework will be considered for admission based on their application.
