What does Spring 2021 look like?

UT Permian Basin will offer a full selection of courses for students this Spring 2021. Course modalities will be much like they were in the fall, with a combination of on-campus, on-line, hybrid, and hyflex options. Explore the Spring 20201 Course Schedule

Here are some important things to know:

  • On-campus face-to-face classes will be offered and additional safety modifications are in place across campus.
  • Dates for the Spring semester remain the same: students will begin classes on January 11th and instruction will continue through April 30th.
  • Housing and dining services on-campus remain open with modifications for health and safety protocols.
  • Student support services including tutoring, mentoring, advising, and career services remain available, both in person and virtually.
  • UT Permian Basin will not have a Spring Break this year.
  • Remote provisions will be made for students to complete face-to-face courses if during the semester they find they are unable to come to campus.

Daily Symptom Checker

As you return to campus, we are asking everyone who will be physically on campus to use a daily symptom tracker prior to your arrival on campus. We have partnered with #CampusClear to offer an app. You can download it at the Apple or Google Play store. It's quick and easy to sign up to use. Please click the app each morning and indicate how you're feeling. There are icons for various symptoms and a "no symptoms" option too. This is a great tool to keep everyone focused on daily health.

Technology Requests

Students who require technology assistance to have a successful spring semester can fill out a Technology Request to indicate their need for a hotspot and/or laptop. Students will be required to complete a user agreement form and show their Student ID at pick up. All rented items must be returned at the end of the semester on Friday, April 30, 2021.
