At UT Permian Basin we believe that cost should never be a barrier to earning your degree, and we have more financial aid options available than ever before! You might be surprised to find out how much financial aid you can receive, regardless of your family’s income level. The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships annually awards $42 million in financial aid, including more than $10 million in scholarships. Interested in seeing how much you're eligible for? All you have to do is fill out a FAFSA/TASFA and you'll be automatically considered.
What is FAFSA? FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid. By completing a FAFSA, colleges and universities can determine your eligibility for financial aid. Nearly all students who complete the FAFSA receive some type of financial assistance. Financial aid awards are funded and regulated by federal and state governments, so applying for and receiving financial aid is a required process.
