Music Program

Mande Gragg is an independent private clarinet teacher and music educator based in Midland, Texas. Mande received her Bachelor of Music degree from Angelo State University in 2005 and has since served as a clarinet teacher, performing musician, band director, clinician, and adjudicator throughout the Permian Basin.  Currently, Ms. Gragg is a Vandoren Regional Artist, Adjunct Instructor of Clarinet for The University of Texas Permian Basin, and maintains a private clarinet studio while performing as Bass Clarinetist for the Midland-Odessa Symphony. She is also frequently seen within the Midland community as a woodwind specialist performing in local stage productions, church orchestras, and educational concerts.

Ms. Gragg is a strong advocate for music education in the public school system, especially in rural, small-town school districts. As a fifth-generation Texan raised in a small farming and ranching community, Mande believes that music has something to offer to everyone, no matter the background, income amount, or zip code.  She continues to live by her roots, on a ranch, with her husband and two children near Midland, Texas.
