Emily Stoudt
Dr. Emily Stoudt retired in Summer 2017, after serving for 15 years in UTPB. During here team in UTPB, she was an extremely active geology faculty.
2002-2004 The University of Texas of the Permian Basin: Adjunct Professor teaching carbonate deposition, petrology and diagenesis, physical geology and other geology courses as needed.
2004-2007 The University of Texas of the Permian Basin: Full Time Lecturer teaching undergraduate classes in physical geology, historical geology, historical geology laboratories, paleontology and geology of West Texas; teaching graduate courses in carbonate deposition, petrology and diagenesis, sedimentary petrology, and clastic (sandstone) deposition, petrology and diagenesis.
2007-2008 The University of Texas of the Permian Basin: Promoted to full time Senior Lecturer.
2008-2013 The University of Texas of the Permian Basin: Full Time Tenure-Track Assistant Professor teaching undergraduate classes in physical geology, historical geology, physical geology laboratories, and paleontology; teaching graduate courses in carbonate deposition, petrology and diagenesis, and clastic (sandstone) deposition, petrology and diagenesis.
2013 -2017 The University of Texas of the Permian Basin: Full Time Non-Tenure- Track Assistant Professor and Geology Program Coordinator teaching undergraduate classes in physical geology, invertebrate paleontology, sedimentary rocks for geologists, mineralogy, sequence stratigraphy and igneous/metamorphic labs; teaching graduate courses in carbonate deposition, petrology and diagenesis, clastic (sandstone) deposition, petrology and diagenesis and exploration and production logging .
