The Testing Center will end up in a new location on the 3rd floor once the renovation is complete. In the meantime, the Testing Center will be housed inside the Student Success Center on the 2nd floor of the Mesa Building. The move has already begun and is expected to be completed by 4/1 and we are working to have it online as soon as possible. We will have to temporary close the Center while we move over a few days. The relocation is expected to happen on or around March 25. We have blocked the testing schedule for a few days while we move so students will not see availability. We will reopen as soon as possible. Students are also being provided with notice of this short-term unavailability.
Any student requiring ADA accommodation testing will be supported during the closure, but they will need to contact the Testing Center at testingcenter@utpb.edu or by phone at (432) 552-2630 to set up their exam. All students with accommodations that needs to take an exam will be able to do so.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this will inevitably cause, but the new space that the Testing Center will relocate to will be much better able to support students testing needs.
